SALTO South East Europe
Nestled in a grand house, we embarked on a musical journey that transcended borders and genres. From the outset, the project’s prelude demanded that we breathe life into the iconic U2 song, each musician crafting their unique interpretation. The culmination was nothing short of magical – a harmonious cover that echoed through the halls of our temporary home and left us in awe of our collective talent.
One cannot speak of this musical sojourn without marveling at the impeccable organization that permeated each note and chord. The daily rhythm of activities, perfectly orchestrated, allowed us to immerse ourselves in the creative process. The setting, our haven in Garstedt, became not just a dwelling but a sanctuary where dreams harmonized with reality.
The beauty of this Erasmus+ youth exchange lies not only in the melodies we produced but in the personal metamorphosis experienced by each participant. The words of my fellow musicians resonate:
“This project ignited a fire within me!”
It reflects a shared sentiment of newfound inspiration and motivation. It was more than music; it was a catalyst for personal and artistic growth!
As we reflect on the harmonious days spent in Garlstedt, the echoes of “Make Music Not War” continue to reverberate within us. The project was a testament to the power of cultural exchange, uniting individuals through a universal language – music. The melodies composed, the friendships forged, and the transformative impact on each musician are the lasting echoes of an unforgettable journey.
For those curious souls who wish to delve deeper into the enchanting notes of our experience, there is playlist on youtube with complete songs we made
The legacy of “Make Music Not War” extends beyond borders, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those fortunate enough to partake in this symphony of cultures.
